Effective 1 April 2026. Plain-language companion to the storage banner on the site.

1. Why this page exists

We want you to understand which small files or storage keys keep the experience functional versus which optional measurements require your explicit opt-in. This document references Singapore expectations for transparency, even when our audience is global.

2. Essential storage

We store a short JSON object in localStorage under the key trisheot.digital_cookies when you respond to the banner. That object records essentials-only versus analytics-enabled choices and a timestamp. It is required so we do not nag you on every visit.

3. Forms and transient data

Contact forms on this static demo do not transmit data until you connect them to a backend. When you do, describe that processor here and list any session cookies they set for spam prevention or rate limiting.

4. Analytics (opt-in)

Optional analytics—if enabled later—should load only after the banner records consent. Document the vendor, data retention window, and whether IPs are truncated. Until wired, no marketing pixels load by default in this template.

5. Third-party media

Course imagery may be served from Unsplash or similar CDNs. Those requests may emit their own technical logs under the CDN’s policies. We pick stable URLs and avoid tracking parameters.

6. Your controls

Clear site data in your browser to reset preferences, or contact us to request a manual deletion log if we host personal data on your behalf. We respond within a reasonable period consistent with operational complexity.

7. Updates

When we add new measurement tools, we will update this page and prompt returning visitors if the change is material. Archive older versions internally for accountability.
